GC Robertson provided the structural engineering design for Aldeburgh Lifeboat Station, a facility built to support RNLI’s lifesaving operations on the Suffolk coast.
The design addressed exposure to wind loading, tidal forces, and the dynamic stresses of lifeboat launches and recoveries. Structural solutions focused on durability and corrosion resistance, ensuring the building could withstand the demanding coastal environment while remaining functional for both crew and public use.
