GC Robertson recently collaborated with Box Worx Ltd to deliver the new Main Stand at Needham Market FC’s Bloomfields ground. Our civil and structural engineers provided the full structural design for the project, which creatively repurposed a shipping container to form the core structure of the stand.

This inventive approach offered a sustainable and cost-effective solution while providing modern, durable facilities that enhance the matchday experience for players and supporters alike. The design demonstrates how practical engineering and thoughtful reuse can achieve impressive results for community projects.

The stand was officially opened by Kieran McKenna, marking an exciting milestone for Needham Market FC and everyone involved.
